Select an Ajax grip material from the list below. You will be sent to a chart showing the styles available in that material. Medallions will be offered during the placement of your order at $12 per pair (except for Military Ivory Polymer, Pewter, Grafx and Buffalo Horn; where medallions are not available. Most of the Ivory Polymer, Aged Polymer, Buffalo Polymer and Laminated Wood grips will be offered in your choice of either smooth or checkered finish during the ordering process.
Standard grip styles may require about 2 to 4 weeks delivery. "Special Order" styles must be prepaid and may require about 4 to 6 weeks delivery.

Here's what they look like. You may need to remove existing grips to compare actual metal gripframes. Both styles come in three types:
The J-FRAME, smallest size, normally 5 shot.
The K/L/X-FRAME, medium size, normally 6 shot in .38 or .357, plus the new 5 shot .500 and .460 Magnums.
Finally the N-FRAME, largest size, Normally 6 shot in .44 or .45 Cal.

COLT 1911/1991 AND CLONES - GRIP DIMENSIONS and APPLICATIONS
The AJAX #12 style grips fit the Colt 1911/1991 full size pistols that have an upper to lower grip screw hole spacing of 3 & 3/16 inches center to center.
The AJAX #10 style grips fit the Colt 1911/1991 Officers/Compact size pistols that have an upper to lower hole spacing of 2 & 11/16 inches center to center.
1911 Clones must replicate the true Colt 1911/1991 single stack design and must match one of the above grip screw hole measurements in order to use 1911/1991 grips on it.
(The Taurus 1911 is an exception and requires the Ajax #93 style grips.)
